THE SUNFLOWER 24-HOUR IS BACK FOR 2008, and the '08 race will include a 12-Hour course! The Sunflower 12 / 24-Hour race will build upon the success of the
2007 race, and will again be a mostly backwoods race with a touch of collge town urban flavor. At times racers will be in serious backwoods
wilderness and 30 minutes later you may be running the streets of beautiful downtown Lawrence, KS! Racers can expect some of the best single
track mountain biking in the region, lake paddling, river paddling, urban orienteering, backwoods orienteering,
trail running, bushwhacking, ropes and more! You will not want to miss this race, the second stop on the Bonk Hard Adventure
Race Series!

FORMAT: Both courses are open to 2-person and 4-person teams only (male, female, co-ed)
CHECKPOINT TRACKER ADVENTURE RACE SERIES: The 2008 Sunflower 24-Hour will again be a part of the
Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Race Series and all 4-Person coed teams in the
24-Hour course will get points in the Series. The Sunflower 24-Hour will utilize Checkpoint Tracker during the race. Checkpoint Tracker is
an online leaderboard application that will track all team's progress throughout the duration of the race; with blog information, pictures,
a course overview, shout outs and more.
USARA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: The Sunflower 24-Hour is a Regional Qualifier for the
2008 USARA National Championships, to be held in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia this November. The top three 4-Person coed teams
will qualify for the National Championships race, and Bonk Hard Racing will pay $400 towards the top team's entry fee.
