Bonk Hard Chill Adventure Race

Bundle up for this beauty of a race! With lots of single track mountain biking, beautiful paddling and orienteering in one of the most beautiful State Parks in Missouri, Lake of the Ozarks State Park, the Bonk Hard Chill adventure race promises to be a challenging, fast and very fun race to start your adventure racing season! Teams of two or four will battle through beautiful forests with miles of single track trails, excellent views and beautiful paddling!

What:  12-hours of continuous mountain biking, paddling, running, trekking and orienteering in a beautiful location.

Where:  Lake of the Ozarks State Park, near Osage Beach, Missouri

LBL Challenge Adventure Race

Welcome to the LBL Challenge, one of Bonk Hard Racing's newest and most exciting adventure races! The LBL Challenge will offer racers 12 or 24-Hours of pure backwoods adventure racing in one of the best venues in the Midwest, the Land Between the Lakes. The Land Between the Lakes, in western Kentucky, is known for its fantastic and flowing single track trails, beautiful lakes and backwoods beauty. With more than 170,000 acres of backwoods forest, 300 miles of undeveloped shoreline and over 200 miles of single track trails and jeep roads, the Land Between the Lakes is an adventure racers paradise! You will not want to miss the second running of the LBL Challenge!

What:  12-hours or 24-hours of continuous adventure racing through some of the most beautiful land in the Midwest. Mountain biking, trail running, trekking and canoeing, all while using a map and compass to find your way through the course.

Where:  Land Between the Lakes, near Grand Rivers, Kentucky

When: April 10-11, 2010

Berryman 6/12-Hour Off-Road Duathlon

The Berryman 6/12 Hour Off-Road Duathlon is a race with a fun and unique format that will include continuous trail running and mountain biking for up to 6 or 12 hours! Racers can expect to trail run and mountain bike on the epic Berryman Trail! There will be a running loop and a mountain biking loop, and racers will try to complete as many laps as possible in their respective time frame. We are also offering a Sport division, in which racers complete one running loop and one mountain biking loop. Do you like to bike and not run? Or vice versa? This year, we're offering a team division in which you have one runner and one mountain biker. Based on 20 participants in each of the male and female divisions of the 12-Hour Individual course, we will be offering a cash prize purse to the winners this year!

What:  6-hours or 12-hours of continuous mountain biking and trail running on the Berryman Trail

Where:  Berryman Recreation Area, near Potosi, Missouri

When: June 5, 2010

Format:  The Berryman 6/12 Hour Off-Road Duathlon is open to individuals as well as teams.


Kansas City Dirty Duo Ride and Run

Grab a buddy and prepare to get dirty! A SUPER FUN 6+ mile race where teams of two leap-frog between biking and running (or walking!) throughout the race! Special mystery obstacles about every mile throughout the race and a BIG, HUGE MUD PIT at the end! Make it a family event and bring the little ones to do the one mile Mini Dirty Duo before the big race...and you will not want to miss the post-race festival with music, food and plenty of cold refreshments! It is sure to be a great time! You will definitely want to bring some extra clothes for this race though, because you are guaranteed to get VERY MUDDY AND WET!

What:  6 miles of continuous biking and running while leap-frogging with your teammate throughout the race. Race includes mystery obstacles approximately 1 mile apart and a huge mud pit at the finish!

The 2010 Sunflower State Games adventure race will be hosted by Bonk Hard Racing, and will take place the morning before the Dusk-2-Dawn Adventure Race. Come make it a full day of racing by doing both races! The Sunflower State Games Adventure Race will include mountain biking, trail running, paddling, and orienteering! This race is a great way for you (or your family, friends, and coworkers) to get your feet wet (literally) in the sport of adventure racing and live to tell about it. The course will range from 15 to 25 miles, and the expected winning time will be around 1.5 - 2 hours. Come do this unique, fast and fun race as a warmup to the Dusk-2-Dawn race later that evening!

What: Mountain biking, trail running and trekking, mystery events and canoeing, all while testing your skills with a map & compass!

The perfect summer race for racers who want to go out and have some fun in the cool summer night! A 7 - 13 hour adventure starting at 8PM on Saturday. Grab a light and enjoy the great single track mountain biking, trail running, hiking and paddling all while testing your skills with a map and compass! A fast and fun race for athletes of all skill levels!

What:  7 - 13 hours of continuous mountain biking, paddling, running, trekking and orienteering, all done during the cool of the night!

Where:  Perry State Park, between Lawrence and Topeka, KS

When: July 24-25, 2010

Format:  2 and 4-person teams (male, female, co-ed)

Welcome to the Wakarusa Off-Road Challenge! Solo racers and teams of two will trail run and mountain bike on some of the fastest single track trails you will ever ride or run; as well as paddle on the Kansas River! It will be a marked course (no navigation) and racers will enjoy the fantastic single track and paddling at this one-of-a-kind event! Racers can go as fast (or slow) as you'd like and this course will be doable by just about anyone. It all comes down to how hard you want to push yourself. YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS RACE!!

What:  6+ miles of trail running, 17+ miles of mountain biking and 4+ miles of paddling on some of the fastest and most fun single track trails you will ever ride!

Bonk Hard Racing's newest adventure race is coming to Smithville Lake, about 20 minutes north of Kansas City! Smithville Lake offers racers miles of fantastic single track trails, a big, beautiful lake and plenty of off-road fun! Similar to the Castlewood 8-Hour, it may be close to a city, but will have a fantastic off-road wilderness feel to it! A great race for beginners to get their feet wet with adventure racing and for experienced teams to hone their skills! Don't miss the first running of the Smithville 8-Hour adventure race!

What: Up to 11 hours of off-road running, trekking, paddling, mountain biking and orienteering in a beautiful location!
