The two duathlon courses will share the same running and biking loops, and both will utilize the
fantastic Berryman Trail, as well as some surrounding jeep and gravel roads. Racers can expect a 4.5 mile running course that will
consist of about 2.5 miles of singletrack trail, .5 miles of jeep trails and 1.5 miles of gravel roads. The mountain biking leg will be about
12.5 miles in length and will consist of about 8 miles of singletrack on the Berryman Trail, 1 mile on jeep trails and 3.5 miles on gravel roads.
Each time a racer completes a trail running and mountain biking loop, that will count as 1 lap. Racers may start out mountain biking or trail
running, but all racers must alternate between the two disciplines during the race.
